they didn’t give me my pjs toothbrush or any of my items so i had to sleep in my jeans because they “didn’t have the time to go through my stuff”. the staff was incredibly rude, one of the male staff kept walking into the girls area while we were changing, other staff saw and did nothing. didn’t help at all, i wish i could give negative stars. out of all the hospitals i’ve been to this was the absolute worst. did more harm than good. DO NOT GO I PROMISE YOU THIS IS A BAD PLACE TO BE!!

Dr Shaikh is one of the worst people I've ever come in contact with. He assumed so much about me. Before I even spoke with him he said I spent too much money, was in debt, couldn't focus and leapt from task to task. None of which is true. He made my experience there awful. I tried switching doctors and he got so angry with me, it was very odd. He was very toxic.

I waited 5 and a half hours for an assessment for outpatient services. Finally gave up and went home. Total waste of time. Receptionists rude to boot. Look elsewhere for good compassionate care.

As a mental health professional, I often help individuals who are in need of inpatient or IOP programs. Woodland Springs is always my first choice for referral! Unlike other psychiatric hospitals, when you walk in to the lobby, it doesn't feel like you are walking into a psych facility. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and patient. When I toured the facility with Julie, I was struck by how updated everything was. The rooms reminded me of a college dorm room. Whenever I have needed to reach one of my clients, I have been able to communicate with them by phone, and the discharge planners clearly are invested in making sure each individual has a support system set up when they leave. I would recommend Woodland Springs for anyone in need of help!!

Inpatient or Residential Mental Health Treatment

Inpatient or residential mental health treatment. Inpatient treatment is the most intensive level of treatment, offering 24-hour care in a secure unit of a treatment facility or hospital. Residential treatment is a step down from inpatient treatment. While there is structure and some monitoring to treatment, the big difference between residential and inpatient treatment involves the setting in which it is carried out. While inpatient treatment is typically carried out in a treatment facility or hospital, residential treatment is usually carried out in more of a home-like environment.
