There should be more people like the staff at Willis-Knighton Rehabilitation Institute. All of their patients and family members are treated with the upmost respect and kindness. They are all very knowledgeable and professional in their area of expertise. The patient knows they care about them through their actions and encouraging words. Everyone is so motivating and positive when addressing each of their patients. It is very clear that they all want the best outcome for everyone who enters into their facilitates . Oh my goodness! the building (s) are so amazing and extremely clean. Security staffs are alert and on their feet walking around checking cars and people the moment you drive into the parking areas. I know this because I was an early visitor one morning. I just sat and observed them (Security Officer and Policeman). They are very protective of their workers also. Although, workers were not aware I was sitting in my car waiting for my appointed time to go inside, a Security Guard met each of the workers at their car and escorted each of them to the sideway while keeping an eye in my direction. The Guard kept himself between me and the employee while walking along side of the her. The employees never knew. He also called for backup which was a smart thing to do. An officer came with the same look the security guard was giving me from a distant. Yes! Security is intact and fully functional from the parking lot to the inside. The cafeteria staff are the best at really striving to provide within limits just what the patient wants to eat each day. Housekeeping staff are the kindness and friendliest people you could ever meet. The doctors talk to their patients and families in language they can comprehend. If I should ever have to go into to a Rehabilitation Center. I pray that this place will have room for me to come.
I would first like to say "Passion" for your job is very important if there is no passion and you are in it for the money it is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Everyone that my mom has came in contact here at this facility has been extremely supportive, helpful, comforting, knowledgeable, PASSIONATE, loving and caring , and GOD SENT. I wish there were more places like this here for people.
THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK OF YOUR FACILITY DOES NOT REPRESENT WILLIS-KNIGHTON REHABILITATION INSTITUTE IN A GOOD WAY AT ALL. SHE IS VERY RUDE, SHE WAS NOT HELPFUL AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THE ONE BOTHERING HER BECAUSE I NEEDED INFORMATION AND HELP. I DID NOT EVEN GET THE INFORMATION OR HELP I NEEDED UNTIL I WANDERED AROUND AND FOUND ANOTHER EMPLOYEE TO DIRECT ME WHERE I NEEDED TO GO. THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE AND I WILL NO LONGER BE USING YOUR FACILITY FOR NOT ONLY THIS REASON BUT ALSO ANOTHER INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED WITH A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NURSE WHICH I WILL CALL THE COMPLAINT/HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICE CONCERNING THAT ISSUE. THANK YOU.
I CANNOT begin to express in words my thanks for this rehab center. On 8/2 I had open heart surgery. I didn't fully realize the extent of recovery that was needed. The staff at Willis Knighton Rehabilitation were outstanding. They were very good and knowledgeable at their jobs and made me feel as if I was the only thing that mattered. Thanks to all of them for getting me on the way to recovery.
