I have left work early on multiple occasions to try and get my disability started and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have contacted their office they do not pick up or answer. I've left numerous amounts of voice-mails in hopes of a next day reply only to recieve NOTHING. It has been MONTHS since I've tried getting my disability started. Horrendous services. Should be ashamed truly
This place is majorly hit and miss. The worst things about it are how many times it took them to get my glasses prescription right, and my current PCP Dr Hockmann. She is absolutely TERRIBLE. Every time I've mentioned a health concern she blows me off, either giving me some pathetic excuse about how damaging the medicine for that particular condition is or just plain not responding or saying they don't do anything for menstrual abnormalities unless you're trying to get pregnant and if you're 30+ you'll have to be referred to a fertility clinic because you'd be considered "advanced maternal age". I'm going to be trying to get a different PCP. Can't afford to buy health insurance or pay out of pocket to go anywhere else even if I could find somewhere that would take me as a patient without insurance.
Today is March 15th. Dr. Parini's scheduler just called to schedule an appointment for me... in October. The last time I saw her was last September. Mind you I just had some abnormal lab results. I asked for a mid-morning appt. They said those were not available. Really? If these drs handled their own practices the way they treat VA patients, they'd be out of business.
I hadn't used VA healthcare for nearly 20 years. I was amazed with the care and service from the lady making my new card - the RN and Dr. new patient interview to the follow-up appointments made so quickly. I just don't understand any negative reviews here. Just great!
