My husband had a very important issue I had to take take care of for him at the clinic in person. When I walked in Corrina was at the front desk and she was ready and willing to help. She handled my issue with expertise and professionalism. Thank you ???? Corrina
They take forever to answer the phone and then give u attitude while talking to u. They don't know how input or update anything on a computer. They always cancel ur follow ups and when ur due for an annual checkup they write off everything so it looks good on paperwork. The whole staff can care less if ur hurting or sick. All they care about is there lunch and they close before their scheduled time. Consider yourself lucky if u ever meet ur Doctor once a year.
Nothing but good to say about this clinic. Everyone is very nice and the only thing I ever have to wait for is blood work depending on what time I come. The provider is good about referring me to a specialist if needed. I've been coming here for about 1 1/2 years.
Nurse practitioner Bennett did not believe I was in pain she said the VA not cover chiropractic or acupuncture and made countless excuses on why I could not receive care. I am 100% disabled through the VA. I have been to other VA clinics this is by far the worst I have ever been treated. The patient is the one in pain and tells you and in order for a patient to achieve the best health possible you as a medical provider should help reach those goals. I also know that they cover those treatments bc I received that care before from my last primary care physician and by researching on the VA website. If you want to change doctors, or even get in with a PCP, walk into the patient advocate's office at the VA with the name of a doctor or the clinic you'd like to switch to.
Was called by SWMVaOC and was told that I needed to come in for labs; they scheduled me. Showed up as scheduled and they didn't have me scheduled after all but they did the lab works. Was scheduled to the follow up with the doctor or nurse practitioner, appointment was @ 2:30 later changed to 1:00 then changed to 9:00 AM. 4 people were ahead of me and went in and 4 or 5 more people came in and they got in ahead of me. When I asked what was going on the clerk, Carla, was rude and sarcastic, continued talking over me telling me I was next. One more person checked in and after five minutes went in also not me as promised. This person, clerk, was just being mean and did this to spite me. I'm a 70 year old war veteran with PTSD . I was so disgusted that I left. No-one has bothered to call me to reschedule, there's no respect for us veterans.
