Worst VA clinic I have ever been to. The staff is rude and give you attitude. They don't even greet you when you walk in the door. They just start barking questions at you. Veterans, if you have the option to go somewhere else I highly recommend that you do.
It's impossible to make an appointment! No one picks up the phone so I used the my healthy vet to schedule an appointment but that website has you select your issues and wait for a call back from the clinic and then they never call back and you can't make another appointment request until the one that they haven't called back on is closed and the only way to close it is to call them
They tell me they can't see me and I have to go to Urgent Care, only to then tell me that they won't cover the prescription cost because it was through Urgent Care, the place they told me to go. And so it was either go almost an hour out of my way to a VA hospital or pick up a prescription that HEB had already made for me. Luckily they had my info on file and that medication went from $80 to $13 through Veteran's discount. I wish this kind of nonsense was specific to the COVID pandemic, but they've always been like this.
Took me a week just to get someone on the phone just to schedule an appointment two weeks later. By then I felt better. Asked about it and they suggested go to ER next time. I’m not gonna flood the ER with chronic pain. They don’t have an online appointment option like the other VA sites do. Took an X-ray and no one has ever reached out to show me or explain my results. And when I call and finally get a answer I get put on hold and disconnected.
Can t never get a Live person on the phone. Takes days for a call back and then these people constitute an argument. Best known for 6 months check ups only, if you are ill try the ER and most of the time the ER throws you right back to these PCPs who will give an answer. Will someone please help. I 'll be glad when I receive my Medicare card.
