Pyramid Healthcare Dallas PA Detox | Inpatient Rehab Treatment Center Dallas

I went here in January and I’m 7 months and 25 days clean. Going to rehab was the best decision I could of made for myself and my health. This facility was defiantly one in the books…. They are short staffed to the max and overworked. They don’t care for the patients like they should nor respect them. They love to pick fights like little kids. This isn’t a place to pick favorites or a dating site. I heard other rehabs are way worse then this place.

Staff was awesome esp Nurse Kristen! Staff is so over worked!!! It's the doctors that caused my seizures not the nurses. They do what they are told. The techs are amazing!

Spent 80 days at Dallas, I'm currently 7 months clean. There is , of course, room for improvement but Pyramid helped me. Most of the techs are amazing, and go out of their way to help you. Also, made some great friends at Dallas.

Husband came home high from this place. The techs bring in drugs and hide them for the residents. This entire facility is a disgrace.

Absolutely horrible.... The staff there are snobby nurses ansd over worked techs . They are extremely short staffed and inexperienced for all but a few intelligent people who know what they're doing I've been through this and try the best that they can however their supervisor is a little bit newer doesn't have the experience that I think you do a rehab job and she doesn't take the job very seriously they're kind of judgmental David up in front of people and then tell them they're not allowed to vape it's just it's just young people helping young people and it's not very efficient nautical diagnosis at all and I would never recommend pyramid Dallas or any parent for that matter especially considering that Covetous eye a very serious thing right now and they don't even test they send you out a motel leave you there unsupervised with a script of Suboxone that you're supposed to administer yourself which if you are not right there for the right reasons might be detrimental and I just was overall very upset by us

My wife made the decision on her own to come here to get clean and wanted to stay for the rehab as well. After the first day she knew she didn't want to stay for the rehab because of how poorly they treat people and they don't know what they're doing. They run this facility for the insurance money for sure. They do "planned ignoring", which is when they lock you in because the facility is run on a key-fob system, if you tell them you'd like to leave. This is not a prison and they cannot keep you. She wanted to stay for a 5 day detox and then a 21-30 day rehab. After the 5th day she told them she would like to leave the following day. They agreed and said they would arrange transportation. The next day came, and they denied her transportation and told her that her insurance offered to pay for 7 days instead of 5 so she had to stay another 2 days WITHOUT treatment for withdrawal if she wanted a ride back home which was 2 hours away. Mind you, I knew NONE of this and was calling the whole time leaving messages wondering if she was okay. Nobody ever got back to me and she wasn't allowed to ever use the phone. She had to suffer the last 2 days and then finally was given a ride back home where she was able to tell me how poorly they treat people. Its worse than jail. Do not go here.

Worst place I've ever gone to. If you feel like signing up for prison then this is it! Place has no structure and is completely unorganized.

    Inpatient or Residential Addiction Treatment
    Inpatient Addiction | Addiction
Inpatient or residential addiction treatment. Inpatient treatment is the most intensive level of treatment, offering 24-hour care in a secure unit of a treatment facility or hospital. Residential treatment is a step down from inpatient treatment. While there is structure and some monitoring to treatment, the big difference between residential and inpatient treatment involves the setting in which it is carried out. While inpatient treatment is typically carried out in a treatment facility or hospital, residential treatment is usually carried out in more of a home-like environment.
