Tried to call 10 minutes before closing as I had left work an hour early to try and make it before they close at 1630. The phone connected to the SLC VA and it was told by the operator there that he would let the O Rem clinic I was on my way to pick up a piece of paper they called me and hold me was ready 30 minutes earlier. When it arrived at the clinic at 1632 no one was available. I called the clinic and again was connected to SLC and he reconnected me to the Orem clinic where no one answered and was connected to Ohio. Called many times again to try and reach someone as I needed the papers l had signed by my doctor and no one answered. They called me to pickup my papers and then weren't available for me to pick up. Weren't even available 10 minutes before closing for me to talk to and tell me not to show up if I was going to be 2 minutes after 1630. Not service minded at all!

I have had the hardest time getting appointments. I have not had a 6 month appointment for my diabetes since I transfered to Orem clinic. The covid vaccine has thrown my A1C way high. I want to transfer back to the blue clinic even though I live in Orem.

This place is a complete joke. NO ONE uses the facility For. A. Reason. Government just needed an excuse to dump some money into something to tax citizens more. What a shame.

I'm trying to enroll with the VA and get a COVID-19 vaccine. I was transferred to enrollment by the receptionist, and place on an indefinite hold. The VA is just around the block from me so I drove there real quick to do it in person. 1) The receptionist isn't wearing a mask behind the desk, at all. Not below her nose, not a chin diaper, no mask AT ALL. No attempt to even look like she's wearing one. You'd think a federal facility would follow federal guidelines. 2) She said I couldn't enroll at the Orem location and gave me the number to the SLC location. I find it very hard to believe you can't register for benefits at any VA center. I was getting the strong impression the receptionist passed the buck because it was 4pm and they close at 4:30pm. This will be the last time I contact the Orem VA for anything. Its a shame because I was excited to have a center 1/4 mile from my home.

I’m not sure about the doctors or nurses... but the reception staff seems very rude, lazy, and unprofessional. A couple weeks ago I called to check on my VA enrollment status. The phone rang for a very long time, and eventually a disgruntled woman finally answered. I told her why I was calling and she got an attitude with me, then placed me on hold. After about 45 minutes she still hadn’t returned so I hung up. Considering using SLC’s facility.
