I have always had a phenomenal experience going to this clinic . Unfortunately due to my work schedule and the pandemic I have not been able to go to the clinic as often as I want to for checkups. The VA office downtown is very accommodating. If I could give the West side office more than five stars I would probably give them 6.5 stars or 7 stars. The occasions that have gone to the VA office downtown they pretty much done a good job and we're very thorough. Both VA clinics do a great job but if you have the flexibility in your schedule I would go with the West side clinic because they do a much better job but either way you will not be disappointed.
I was treated exceptionally well. This clinic has some of the best caregivers i have been to. My appointments have always on time, an the staff has always treated me well. This year my appointment was virtual, and the Dr. was attentive. Never had a bad experience.
Good for VA. Better than main hospital. Staff behind doors I see are very professional and very caring. The only complaint I had and already made to management was the front desk shenanigans and unprofessionalism. Last time I was there, they seemed to clean that up a bit. The ladies were actually welcoming, saying hi, and trying to get you in ASAP. They also began to keep the maturity in check.
As a new veteran, who is younger than the typical VA patient census I was so very nervous about being seen at a VA clinic. This clinic completely changed my mind. I felt right at home. The clinic is smaller than the main VA center, I had no problem finding parking or locating the clinic. Once I arrived the front desk ladies were very nice and helped me get checked in. My nurse, Robin, and my provider, NP Reeves were outstanding. They were both super thorough and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is on the fence about a VA clinic.
