Don't go to this VA if you need actual help. I just had spinal surgery and the doc on yellow team cut off my meds after me saying multiple times the meds aren't helping I need better help. Then she misses phone appointments and blames me saying I missed a appointment. Go to patient advocate just for the guy to talk about how good a friend he is to that doc. Hunt from patient advocate won't help you and the yellow team doc will lie on paperwork about you and will lie about the care you are allowed to get. I live 80 miles away and she says I have to go there for pain management
Get a call early in the morning that my doctor isn't in today and I have an appointment in the afternoon, however; they want me to either see someone else or reschedule. I don't mind seeing someone else but what they don't tell you is that you have to wait for an available doctor to take the time to see you in between all of their other patients. What's the point in doing that and not being able to be seen in a timely fashion? This is not how the health system is supposed to work. I check to see about possible rescheduling and find out if I do that then I can't be seen till December cause the schedule is booked out. This is insanity at its finest.
I have been trying to make an appointment by phone for 5 days. I have sat on hold until the V.A. phone system hung up on me (13) min. Has the V.a. gone to just walk in and first come first serve or what . $300 mill for the new building and not a single person working in it knows how to pick up the phone. Worst I have ever seen in the V.A system.
