A little over 7 years ago I decided to seek treatment for alcohol and drug addiction and chose this facility as a place to try and arrest my disease and I have been clean and sober ever since. After 30 days inpatient treatment and 9 months out patient I was able to achieve that goal. Since going to Gateway, I went from being a broke, hungry and homeless, pitiful excuse for a human being. To being an employed, sheltered, car owning productive member of the community. Lying and stealing have been replaced by honesty and trust, loneliness into friendships, despair into hope. my life has done a complete 180 turn thanks to this foundation. I recommend this facility to anyone who truly wants freedom from active addiction. However you are going to have to do some work. Your going to have to give up some things you might not want to give up and do some things you aren't going to want to do. Question is how much do you want it?
This place is a total dump! I went here to try to get help and the staff is completely disrespectful and inconsiderate! They treat you like a guilty inmate! They took my clothes to wash when you 1st get there and then they steal some of your clothes! Then the food is is absolutly discusting and the bed sheets are full of blood and the matress is super uncomfortable with the springs popping up into your back! Worst place ever! Do not waste your time or money here because they do not care about you only to rob you of your hard earned money
