This place is really unprofessional, I was a patient here and I experienced so much unprofessional things there. Some of the staff are horrible I could name a couple , Deidre, Amanda and etc. There is also no therapist on the weekends so you pretty much have to suffer if you’re going through a crisis over the weekend. The only time that the staff would call somebody is if you were actively hurting yourself which is dumb. The staff I would say that went above and beyond is charity, stephanie, Jose the nurse, Liza, elizabeth (therapist) gabby, and christian

I have way more to add to this rating. I am very concerned about how my daughter was treated at this place especially when discharged to the hospital and I didn't know where my child was and neither did the evening staff. I had to call between two different places to see where my daughter was. Call the police and find out where she was going. I finally located my child at 3:30am. The social worker at ETS had NO information regarding my child or why she was there at all. My daughter was left outside for hours waiting to be admitted. I am a professional and know how RTC are supposed to work and thank goodness for my connections. I wasn't contacted by the assigned therapist for hours and all she wanted to do was let me know my daughter wasn't able to come back. I would never place her in a place like this again nor deal with this agency and that is unfortunate because my experience was wonderful until she was placed at this RTC. Even the hospital social worker acknowledged that how my daughter was handled by this place was not appropriate. The staff also embellished what was going on with my child. She was released within 24 hours with no medication needed and the doctor took the time to speak with my daughter regarding what occurred there at this place and why. He believes her. Do do I. Completely destroyed my trust in institutions like this. I will now start advocating so that nobody has to experience what I did. I have a very stellar track record in handling matters like this and it will be addressed. Lastly how is this a secured place and my daughter is able to get ahold of glass? How can the therapist who I'm certain is an understudy recommend my daughter go to a lock facility without clearly being aware of the situation. My daughter was only at this place for a week. The officer did not have an issue with her she did not act out at the hospital at all. She was triggered by someone or someones at this place. There is a big disconnect here and I would advise you not send your child in crisis here. Her behavior only escalated. One staff person said that she stinks and to get away from her an evening staff member . The only thing that stinks is the lack of professionalism at this facility and you can take my word for it. The therapist Elizabeth did not even speak with the hospital social worker to even convey their alleged reason for why my daughter was taken to be assessed. She was very focused on the fact that my daughter wasn't coming back with not an ounce of ethics. When I explained my harrowing experience with the process I was met with her empty excuse. Then when I let her know ow the outcome she had the audacity to imply that tbe treating staff at ETD was not really appropriate and I should take her to a real psych hospital. If that is the case why did they send my child there? The reviews before mine., please believe them they were the youth at thus place. Some had a good time others did not. Lesson learned

I was advocating for myself and my needs as an addict in recovery and I was denied any 12 step meetings or sober support numbers. My condition while I was there got worse. I felt that not everyone was treated equally. The staff was not educated on addiction as much as they say they were. The way they handled some situations were not appropriate and the staff were disorganized and I feel we’re not equipped to tend to our needs, emotional and disciplinary. I got discharged because my condition was getting worse and home was not a safe option either, I was told they were going to look into another facility for me to discharge to but they didn’t. I told them I did not feel safe going home and they disregarded my concerns for my well-being.

This is not a dual diagnosis program at all there was no 12 step they would not let you attend meetings I came out worse than when I went in I came out with a adderall addiction. That I had to get over by my self. Also the staff can be very insensitive about what is going on and why your there. Personally I was there because it was court ordered and I had come straight from juvie and one of the staff threatened me and told me I’d just be in juvie my whole life. The staff is also very disorganized never knowing what is going on with the kids at all. I personally do not recommend this. Also this wasn’t a major thing but to me at the time it was they lost my stuff and the director said he’d replace it. He lied it was lashes it isnt that big of a deal but its the fact they lost it and told me they’d replace it and never did. Also they didn’t respect when people needed a break they would push people so hard to the breaking point that they had to punch a hole in the door just to be able to take a break and collect themselves. Overall would not recommend.

The website makes it seem way better then it is. The location is not nice at all. It is very loud and the neighbors were smoking weed all the time and setting fireworks. Most staff is also rude and come across as very uncaring and burnt out. They are probably not treated fair by their employer and don’t want to be there. The kids seem like a burden to them and that they just want to put in their hours and get out of there. However, the food is amazing, there are wonderful chefs who are extremely skilled in cooking and the therapy from the individual sessions is very helpful.

Inpatient or residential mental health treatment. Inpatient treatment is the most intensive level of treatment, offering 24-hour care in a secure unit of a treatment facility or hospital. Residential treatment is a step down from inpatient treatment. While there is structure and some monitoring to treatment, the big difference between residential and inpatient treatment involves the setting in which it is carried out. While inpatient treatment is typically carried out in a treatment facility or hospital, residential treatment is usually carried out in more of a home-like environment.
