Vaccination at Denver Health was extremely efficient. I was notified when I was eligible, easily made appointment through MyChart, showed up for my appointment, got right in and got my shot within three minutes of arrival. They booked me for my second appointment on the spot. Waited the 15 minutes for observation and was all done. Second shot was as efficient as the first. I was very impressed with the whole process and how smoothly it went.
I was a patient at Denver Health Hospital for over two weeks during which time I was exceedingly well cared for. I had a life threatening infection that I might not have survived had I been treated at another facility. In addition to exceptional medical care, the staff made sure I was as comfortable as possible always available to break up my day with friendly conversation which was sincerely appreciated. Even the folks that brought my food trays were happy to open my windows or give my nurse a message for me. I have never met such a caring, considerate group of people.I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital also..the food not so much!
Just like my first vaccine shot, everything ran smooth. I was seated for my shot very quickly, and just like last time it was administered with zero pain. Everyone there was very friendly and knowledgeable with the questions I asked. They did a great job!
I changed my medicare to Denver Health's plan, and had fairly early access to the vaccine, for starters. What I appreciate about the Hospital is the feeling of community that I don't get in any other medical center. They have gotten me through a broken thigh bone, and managed to get me to start actually caring for my health in the way it deserves. My only wish is a map of the campus on My Chart. One of your community outreach professionals is mailing me one, and thank you for your kindness in the face of much complaining.
