All the negative people are crazy, do not listen to them. They might've called on a Saturday or Sunday when they aren't open for prescriptions. I got a call back from an insidepatient worker that was super nice and helpful. It was my mistake that I was very clear of what I wanted because I'm not that good at explaining due to my ADD disorder and anxiety. Blair was able to look the number for my psychiatrist because I'm having anxiety due to him not really able to understand me and me not really able to understand him due to his accent but was very nice!
The food is about average for the most part but great recovery hospital for mental health conditions and drug and alcohol treatment. They have been helpful to me for many years now and sadly now in this visit the charge nurse Julie was rude at times and failed to include some of the belongings of mine on discharge orders day so we had to go back to there and get what was not sent home with me like it should have been.
I was there for treatment for depression. The staff I met at first were absolutely rude and made me uncomfortable. I never went outside and never got fresh air. Was locked in a “quiet room” as well and that bothered me. Some of the staff however are amazing like “Terry” and “Keith”! They are awesome. This place is ok for getting a break from the world but in total it will not help you. Too much confinement, it feels like prison. Edit: I looked it up and found out that they broke the law when they forced a needle into me to knock me out. It’s called “booty juice” look it up. Hospitals get sued all the time for this. They needed to get parental consent to do this and they never did AND the its illegal to force a minor to take a Medication. By law they can refuse it. Lawsuit on its way!!
Was there for 10 days. Put on meds "for my mood." Was never told anything about discharging, so I had no Idea how to leave the hospital. They keep people there against their will and I had several doctors at once. Social worker was very rarely there. Meds only ruined my mood worse and made me incredibly tired all day. You have to share a bathroom with three other people. Boys and girls can't interact at all. Never knew what was happening.
Have had inpatient and outpatient services. Everyone there has been awesome. Even cafeteria workers were nice while I was an inpatient. I have used their outpatient services for quite a while. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The most important thing to me is always feeling safe. I am so grateful for a loving, caring staff. I feel frightened at times due to my mental health issues. They always help me with this and make a treatment experience really just fine.
The psychiatrist that I had was some random black lady I hardly knew. She diagnosed me and never told me the diagnosis.. She then gave me medicine for the diagnosis and told me it was for my mood. I now permanently can't sleep for more than 3 hours at a time and I have vivid nightmares every single night... I don't even know her name that's how little we knew about each other....
Worst and longest wait I've ever experienced. The nurse was extremely rude and unprofessional. No body checks in and the front desk attendant is no where to be found. If you enjoy waiting hours to be seen/updated this is the place for you. I on the other hand will not be back.
