The Bridgeport Hospital **Milford Campus** offers a terrible hospital with terrible staff. If you find out your loved ones are being treated by a Dr.Benton take them out of here immediately, most hostile human being I ever interacted with. Mom went in for physical injuries began acting mentally unstable after they fed her a cocktail of meds and he told us she was just crazy before she got there and we never noticed it. Unbelievable. The entire staff was more worried about my mom being a liability then actually treating her. Aforementioned doctor actually came up and said to me "You guys are really stressing out my neurological staff" since we were trying to figure out what was going on with her and I was just floored, as if I wasn't in the process of temporarily losing my mom. The doctor made it very clear my family was nothing but a big inconvenience for him, always making sure we felt some sort of guilt for asking even the most basic of questions. Every single question he would meet with resistance and try to pin the blame on us even trying to use her unclean hair as a proof that she was psychotic before we admitted her (my mom had a PHYSICAL disability with her arms and he knew that). My mom is starting to do better now after we took her to some ACTUAL doctors. I'll never forget the family crisis this hospital caused and how unhelpful and hostile the doctor was when we were simply trying to figure out what had happened to our loved one. DO NOT take your loved ones here, this place did nothing but damage. I can't even comprehend how the doctors staffed here got hired, they're unprofessional, hostile and overall clueless.
scheduled an appointment for the vaccine, for some reason it said booster even though it was my first time getting it. i called to change it to first dose with an appointment at 6:45 pm. i got to the location on mill hill ave waited 15 minutes ringing the doorbell & on call with someone in the hospital who was completely useless and much to my surprise they do not give the vaccine after 6:30 pm. why would your staff in charge of giving appointments for the vaccine not know the hours? eventually someone who worked there came and told me. i finally go 2 days later and got my vaccine done by a woman named Karen who was very nice and made the experience way better for me. i actually wasn’t going to write a review but i had to because in my experience there are few nurses that are that nice.
If you plan to have a baby, GO HERE. I cant recommend it highly enough. Initially, we were a little concerned our practice switched from Yale New Haven to here. However, it was honestly the best decision we could have made to deliver our first child here. Things obviously did not go as planned and they made us feel comfortable through the whole process. Experts in their fields. The nurses were all so nice. Like, love their jobs and you can tell, really just cannot believe how nice. Almost annoyingly nice. So grateful to have had them. Also, they have a nursery, so you can ship your child away for a few hours of much needed rest. Not all hospitals have this! Lactation specialists always available which also was invaluable. 11/10 would have another baby here.
The good thing about this hospital is that they’re kind to you but good attitude isn’t enough..You’ll wait for 4 hours only to be seen for 15min & or less (Not exaggerating these numbers) and you almost always end up needing to come back or find another hospital or doctor because they get things wrong the 1st time. Extremely long wait time + extremely short time with the doctor = often wrong diagnosis even though they sound confident.
Do not provide any type of meal service for fathers of babies born here. I had to go out every day and get my own meals and leave my wife with our newborn. No way I was paying for the cafeteria. St. Vincent's provided meal service for the duration of our stay with our first born.
I really thought that this hospital had more professional people especially at nights north west 9 is a real shame there is a nurse named Morgan who has the worst attitude that anyone in the world has, for example one of the things that he did intentionally enter 3:30 In the morning singing a song to the room, what she did is enter the room intentionally turn on lights then in that way the patient wakes up abruptly also allowing patients from other beds to have their TV on all night. It seems a lack of respect and a total lack of education since a nurse has to be willing to help and not to do things intentionally as was the compartment of this Girl her name is Morgan and honestly she does not deserve this job maybe she can be in another because your lack of professionalism prompted me to write this comment
I would highly recommend this Urgent Care location to everyone! Although I was in a lot of pain going to the urgent care, this location made being at the doctors office a very painless experience! The facility itself was very clean and the entire staff is so friendly and helpful! I walked right in and was seen almost immediately.
I came here today for my father and the service we received today truly surpassed any of our expectations! The nurse Eric and Ted worked well and took great care of my dad! My parents really appreciate him fighting for us and going above and beyond
